Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fore-ward Thinking, a sole proprietorship operated from the State of Indiana, USA (“Fore-ward Thinking,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Fore-ward Thinking, our AI golf coaching service (the “Service”). The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for users located in the United States.

1.Scope

This Policy applies to information we handle through the Service. It does not cover third-party services we use to operate the Service (listed in Section 6), which have their own privacy policies. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.

3.How We Use Your Information

4.How AI Processing Works

To generate coaching responses, the Service sends your relevant inputs (for example, your messages and pertinent profile/session data) to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them through its Claude API and returns a response. This processing is what powers Coach.

5.AI Model Training

We do not use your personal information or your conversations to train AI models. We access Anthropic’s models under its commercial API terms, which state that Anthropic does not train its models on the inputs or outputs of commercial/API customers by default. We do not enroll in any program that would change this.

6.Service Providers (Sub-processors)

We use the following service providers to operate the Service. They process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide their services to us:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseDatabase and authentication (account, profile, and session data)
AnthropicAI processing (generating coaching responses)
StripePayment processing and subscription billing
ResendSending transactional and account emails

7.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:

8.Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel your subscription, your Golfer DNA and account data remain so you can pick up where you left off if you return, until you ask us to delete them or close your account. We may retain limited information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records).

9.Your Privacy Rights

You can access and update your account information in the app, and you can delete your account. You may also request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by contacting us at support@forewardthinking.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

10.California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of it, to request correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share (for cross-context behavioral advertising) your personal information. The categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 2 (identifiers such as name and email; commercial information such as subscription status; internet/usage activity; and the golf-performance content you provide). To exercise your rights, contact support@forewardthinking.com.

11.Cookies & Local Storage

The Service uses your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in (authentication tokens) and to cache session data for performance. We use privacy-friendly product analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

12.Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and database-level access controls (row-level security). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13.Data-Breach Notification

If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and any relevant authorities as required by applicable law, without undue delay.

14.Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Consistent with our Terms, you must be at least 18 to use the Service.
