Every launch monitor hands you a screen full of numbers and tells you nothing about where they came from. Some were measured by a sensor. Some were computed from numbers that were measured. Some were estimated by an algorithm that never saw the thing it is reporting. And some are just the simulator drawing a ball flight. Pick your setup below and find out which is which, so you know what you are allowed to coach off and what is a hint at best.

Every claim on this page cites the maker's own page. Where a maker publishes no accuracy figure we say so rather than borrowing somebody else's test, and where their own sources contradict each other we print the contradiction instead of picking a side.

GSPro measures nothing at all. Every launch number on screen came from your launch monitor, and every distance is GSPro’s own physics.

Why this changes how you practise

A benchmark is only worth comparing against a number that was actually observed. Grade an estimated spin figure against a well struck window and you have graded the vendor's algorithm, not your swing. That is why the free decode tool asks which launch monitor you used, and refuses to put a verdict on a number your device only modelled. It is the same rule a coach should follow: know what the data can see before you tell somebody what to fix.

Questions

Does the Garmin R10 measure spin?

Indoors, no. Garmin states that indoor spin is calculated with a machine learned model that takes the measured radar numbers as inputs, and the Garmin Golf app shows an estimated spin rate in italics. Outdoors it can measure spin from the observed flight, but only when it sees at least 20 m of flight and the ball speed is above 90 mph. Hitting into a net outdoors falls back to the indoor calculation. Garmin is also the only maker on this page that publishes real accuracy figures: ball speed to 1 mph, club speed to 3 mph, launch angle and direction to 1 degree, club face to 2 degrees, carry to 5 yards, apex to 5 feet.

Does the Uneekor EYE MINI LITE measure club data?

Yes, four club numbers, and it needs the club stickers that ship in the box. Uneekor's own spec sheet lists club speed, attack angle, smash factor, and club path. It does not list face angle, dynamic loft, face to path, or a numeric impact point at any setting, so nobody can read a face to path story off this unit. Spin is read optically off the dimples of any ball, with nothing drawn on it.

Why do two launch monitors report different spin for the same shot?

Usually because one of them measured it and the other estimated it. A camera unit reads spin off the ball itself. A radar unit needs enough flight to watch, which is why an indoor radar wants metal dot stickers or an RCT ball before its spin number means anything. Some devices will not show spin at all without a marked ball, which is the honest behaviour. Before you compare two numbers, check whether they are the same kind of number.

Does GSPro measure anything?

No. GSPro is simulator software with no sensors. Every launch number on screen came from your launch monitor through the Open Connect interface, and every distance on screen is GSPro flying the ball with its own physics from those launch numbers. So your launch numbers are only as good as your device, and your carry number is a GSPro model either way.

Why do so many accuracy figures on this page say not published?

Because the makers do not publish them. We only print an accuracy figure when the maker states one, and we will not fill the gap with somebody else's test result dressed up as a specification. Of every device here, only Garmin publishes a real per metric tolerance set. Trackman, Foresight, Uneekor, SkyTrak, FlightScope and ProTee publish none. Rapsodo and SkyTrak publish comparative marketing claims instead, which we label as exactly that.
